Nickleback Poster

Below is a Poster which I have chosen to analysis to gain the codes and conventions need to create one of my own to include in my digipak. The backdrop is similar to that of the album cover, to link it back to the record.
Bands name and album take up just a small section of the poster in comparison to the band photo. Therefore this band is trying to promote their image more as they are a well recognised band. Also the top part of the poster is normally the first thing the eye looks at, so the audience know straight away who is being promoted.
Also the poster is trying to connote the image that the band is living life in the 'fast lane' which is being promoted by the car apprently speeding along the road with the band behind it. Also the copyright information is place in tiny font at the bottom of the poster, living more room to promote the band.
