Test Edit 3/Analysis
Here is my second test edit for my music video which I have screened to the class for their feedback so far and make any alterations before I submit my final edit.
I still have some shots of the narrative to place into this edit. Which involve the band in detention, and then it will cut to the performance sequence. and it will keep flicking backwards and forwards, between the main performance and the lead signer in the narrative.
I also need to re-animate the logo, so it had a more fluid motion, and has a better quality of picture. But also to give it a more edgy look so it fits in with the rest of the video.
I also need to re-adjust some of the footage as the singing is out of sync a little in some parts.
I also need to do a bit more editing like i did with the solos towards the end of the footage, making it more diverse and a little more exciting. The feedback also give suggested that all of the footage, should be black and white except the last part of the music video.
Also at the beginning of the footage, I need to age the song title and the band name, but this can be added on at the end, I also need to make the logo at the end fade a little better to make the end come to the conclusion.
If I have time I might do a little more filming, to add the slamming of doors at the end of the music video and have a still image of a clock, displaying the time '4.30' stating that the band have gone home drawing a conclusion at the end of the narrative and to the video.
I also might add a few more split screens to give different shots in the music video.
